Cleaner shrimps are a heterogenous group of crustaceans that live in cleaning symbiosis with larger fish. Fish benefit from this relationship by getting rid of ectoparasites and debris, while cleaner shrimps obtain nutrients. Cleaner shrimps are commonly reef associated and establish cleaning stations, that are visited by client fish on a regular basis.
